About The Program

The Manicure Program at Robert Paul Academy is a part-time nail technician course that includes 250 hours of training over 13.5 weeks. Our nail tech curriculum includes both basic and spa-style manicuring and pedicuring, as well as nail tipping, mending and wrapping, fiberglass and gel application, acrylic overlays, acrylic sculpturing and basic nail art. Written and practical assessments will be conducted for each segment of the program to ensure that all students are retaining information from our Nail Technician Program and maximizing their learning experience!

Our Manicure Program runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and Fridays 9:00am to 5:00pm. Students enrolled in this Nail Technology Program at our Maryland cosmetology school will benefit from 45 minutes of in-class theory and 3.25 hours of technical demonstration and practice. Friday is a salon training day. Clinic specials will be offered by Robert Paul Academy every Friday to encourage additional business from clients, thereby allowing our nail tech students to receive more hands-on experience before starting a cosmetology career.

The Robert Paul Academy Nail Technology Program is offered once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Contracted enrollment must include at least 6 students for the class to be offered. An initial deposit of $700.00 is required upon enrollment. The tuition for our manicuring course includes all books, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the nail tech class. Any other supplies issued are considered extra equipment and are the responsibility of the student. Additional fees are generally limited to the cost of an Academy uniform. Tees are $19 (short sleeve) or $21 (long sleeve), and $28.00 will cover an Academy hoodie. Tee shirt costs are subject to increases by the manufacturer.
