About The Program

The manicuring program at the Robert Paul Academy is 250 hour, 13.5 week, part-time program. The nail technology curriculum includes basic and spa manicuring and pedicuring, nail tipping, mending and wrapping, fiberglass and gel application, acrylic overlays, acrylic sculpturing and basic nail art. Written and practical assessments will be conducted for each segment of the program.

The program runs Tuesday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm and Fridays 9:00am-5:00pm. Students enrolled in the Nail Technology program at the Academy will have 45 minutes of in-class theory and 3.25 hours of technical demonstration and practice. Friday is a salon training day. Clinic specials will be offered by the Academy on Fridays to encourage additional clients business for our manicuring students  to receive hands-on experience.

The Nail Technology program is offered once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Contracted enrollment must be at least 6 students for the class to be offered. An initial deposit of $700.00 is required upon contracting. The tuition includes all books, equipment and supplies necessary to complete the course of study. Additional Academy uniform tees are $19 (short sleeve), $21 (long sleeve) and $28.00 for an Academy hoodie. Any other supplies issued are considered extra equipment and are the responsibility of the student. Tee shirt costs are subject to increases by the manufacturer.
